There are more than 50 hill climbs in Calderdale, loads more. So I cycled more than 50 hills to find the ones which I thought were the best. The Others are the ones that didn’t make the grade. I’ve written up some of them and the rest I might get round to some day, but don’t hold your breath. If you think of any more that should be on the list then do let me know.

1) Milk Churn lane going up to Boothtown rd
2) The cobbled lane to the side of Gratrix lane that turns into Clifton st in Sowerby Bridge – Short but brutal – impossible if the ground is wet.
