As you head down the Calder River you leave the high moorlands behind you. The land to either side of the valley is lower and the hillsides less steep. It gets harder to find climbs that are quite as challenging as those further upstream but, as you reach places like Elland and Brighouse there are still one or two rides worthy of inclusion in a Calderdale top 50. OK, two to be exact:
